Train to Climb Mt. RainierThis informative video provides a comprehensive six-month training program for the novice-to-intermediate level alpine climber who wants to climb Mt. Rainier and other high-altitude peaks. 3/5/2003 - Rose I recently started weight training to tone and firm up my body. I am also trying to add some curves. I think my trouble spot is my hips. I wanted to know if there is any exercise that I should be doing that would round my hips out as opposed to flatting them. Thank you. For great curves in the hips and glutes, there are no better exercises than squats, lunges, and hamstring work such as shown at http://www.bodyresults.com/E2Hamstrings.asp and http://www.bodyresults.com/E2freelegs.asp. Give them a shot and always keep strict form when first trying out a new exercise. Go light at first to master form, then work up to as much weight as you can safely handle for 8-10 repetitions. ![]() Thanks for the question,
